Who is the National Coalition of Pastors’ Spouses?
NCPS was formed in January 2001. NCPS’ goal is to raise education and awareness levels in minority communities, as well as improve risk identification for diseases and social ills that detrimentally impact the minority community.
With over 2,500 pastors’ spouses in our network, we introduce a different approach to addressing the healthcare needs within the minority population by creating a venue in which minorities, spearheaded by the pastors’ spouse, are empowered with information, resources, and networking that will sustain the faith institution’s healthcare programs indefinitely and allow them to be independent of outside intervention.
NCPS is now leading the charge to educate and train faith institutional leaders regarding HIV/ AIDS, as well as a myriad of other diseases now confronting the minority community.
